Li Yiling is a multi-talented, well-known Chinese-American young artist residing in the United States. She graduated from the Beijing Central Academy of Drama with a specialization in Musical Theater Directing and Performance. She is a prominent media television interviewer and has served as a director, lead performer, and host for major musical dramas, plays, stage productions, and a series of television documentaries. She has performed in plays on Broadway in New York and organized numerous large-scale stage performances and exhibitions at the United Nations, Carnegie Hall, and Lincoln Center.
As an artist, Li Yiling has won numerous awards, including:
– The “Outstanding Artist Award” from the U.S. Immigration Services,
– The “Artist Gold Award” from the United Nations Children’s Fund,
– The “Outstanding Artist Award” from both the New York State Assembly and the New Jersey State Assembly,
– The “Outstanding Contribution Award” from the New York City government.
In 2000, she was crowned the Asian Dynasty Princess in the USA. In November 2013, she received the “Outstanding Contribution Award” jointly presented by the Chairperson of the United Nations Ambassadors’ Spouses Association and Mrs. Ban Soon-taek, wife of then UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, marking a milestone in her life.
She is an ambassador for the Yunnan Hope Project, having donated and fundraised for the construction of four Hope Primary Schools and numerous love libraries in Yunnan.
