Guru Dileepji

Guruji His Holiness Rev. Dr. Dileepkumar Thankappan internationally known as Guru Dileepji, is the Founder, Global Chairman, Spiritual Head and CEO of the World Yoga Community, an NGO Associated with the United Nations Department of Global Communications and an NGO Accredited to the United Nations Economic and Social Council with Special Consultative Status. Guruji is the Chair of the NGO Committees such as Yoga, Meditation and Media at the United Nations, Co-Chair of the Committee of Religious NGOs, the Vice President of the UNSRC Salus Well-Being Network, and the Main NGO Representative of the World Yoga Community at the United Nations. Guruji is a Trustee of the All Faiths Seminary International, New Light Temple, Vice President of the Global NGO Executive Committee, and an Advisor to many international organizations. For over 40 years, he has been organizing events and festivals globally as well as conducting partnership events with numerous organizations in different countries, including over 10,000 NGOs from the United Nations. Guruji traveled to numerous nations and served over 100 million people. Guruji is the founder of the World Yoga Day movement and has a few resolutions in New York State. Guruji is the first Asian & Indian selected to the Executive Committee Board of the New York State Interfaith Council.
