Gobind Munjal is the Immediate Past National President of the Association of Indians in America (AIA), having served from January 2022 through December 2025. He previously served as President of the AIA New York Chapter in 2017 and 2018.
A committed community leader, Gobind served as President of the India Association of Long Island (IALI) in 2011. As Chairman of the India Center Committee, he played a key role in achieving a long-standing community goal—the acquisition of a permanent home for IALI in 2014. He also served as one of the Conveners of the first-ever India Day Parade in Hicksville, Long Island, which became a highly successful community celebration.
Gobind Munjal has been actively involved in numerous community, cultural, charitable, and senior-focused initiatives. He continues to devote his time and leadership to strengthening the Indian American community and promoting service, unity, and civic engagement.
