Aishwarya Madhav is an Indian classical dancer and an Arts educator. She is an emerging artist known for her striking footwork and her storytelling expertise, known for her distinctive stage presence, her work brings clarity and emotional nuance to both traditional and contemporary narratives.
She has performed widely across India and the US at prestigious venues such as Lincoln Center, Yale University, and 92Y, as well as at renowned festivals such as Drive East, Battery Dance, and Making Moves Dance Festival. She was also awarded grants from the New York Foundation of Arts and has presented her original work across New York, New Jersey, and New Delhi to great reviews. She is currently teaching and performing in NYC. She is also a dedicated teacher emphasizing technique, depth, and emotional narrative. Based in NYC, she continues to explore her voice through teaching, performance, collaboration, and new choreographic work.
